On or about 5 April 2011, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has released the first edition of the e-Tax Guide GST ACAP Review Guidance, Appendix 1 of e-Tax Guide “GST: Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme”.
This GST ACAP Review Guidance sets out the scope and methodology to review the internal control framework, with a primary aim to ensure accurate GST reporting.
It provides examples and templates to assist the ACAP Applicant and ACAP Reviewer to prepare and gather evidence for the ACAP Review.
It is essential to be read with the e-Tax Guide “GST: Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP)”.
The ACAP Review process has been broadly categorised in Section 1 to 9.
