The Singapore Accountancy Alliance (SAA) is a group of independent accounting firms and business advisors formed to promote the professional and collaborative networking among the member firms.

The SAA has jointly organised with CPA Australia for its inaugural half-day seminar on 4 January 2017 on the regulatory updates for SMEs to clients and business community as to how several regulatory announcements made in recent months on company financial statements especially, the financial reporting surveillance programme, the proposed changes to the Singapore Companies Act on statutory provisions on re-domiciliation and beneficial ownership, and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) approach to applying the general anti-avoidance rules in the Income Tax Act, may affect companies that operate in the Singapore and international market place. Speakers from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) and IRAS are invited to share these insights.
