On or about 19 February 2019, the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) has commended the Government on Singapore Budget. ISCA highlights how it is working to help fulfill some of the initiatives in the local accounting industry, specifically:
- Building Deep Enterprise Capabilities,
- Building Deep Worker Capabilities, and
- Encouraging Strong Partnerships within Singapore and across the World
Under the Local Enterprise Association Development (LEAD) programme, ISCA has partnered with Enterprise Singapore to help local accountancy SMPs to build their capabilities and improve productivity, including the adoption of Audit Singapore; funding of overseas mission trips; provisions of e-learning courseware and workshops in high-growth practice areas.
