On or about 7 October 2019, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has updated its content on advisory scams as the Corporate Tax filing due date is nearing.
Companies are advised to be vigilant and not fall into the trap of scam emails during this Corporate Tax Filing season. Similar scam email with subject heading ‘Corporate Income Return for YA 2019’ has been surfacing again.
Please do not download the file attached in the email as it may contain computer virus. Any person who has received the scam email may wish to consider lodging a police report.
