On or about 29 October 2019, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has updated the e-Tax Guide GST ACAP Review Guidance, Appendix 1 of e-Tax Guide “GST: Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme”. It replaces the edition published on 5 April 2011.
This GST ACAP Review Guidance sets out the scope and methodology to review the internal control framework, with a primary aim to ensure accurate GST reporting.
It provides examples and templates to assist the ACAP Applicant and ACAP Reviewer to prepare and gather evidence for the ACAP Review.
It is essential to be read with the e-Tax Guide “GST: Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP)”.
The ACAP Review process has been broadly categorised in Section 1 to 9.
