On or about 2 January 2020, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has launched a new initiative for tax agents be authorised by their individual clients to access their income tax matters via myTax Portal.
Under the new initiative from 15 March 2019, a tax agent who has been authorised to access the client’s myTax Portal account on his client’s behalf can e-Transact with the IRAS (e.g. to file tax return) and access the suite of digital services using the CorpPass ID and Authorisation Code.
The IRAS has replaced the application form with an online version. To request for an Authorisation Code, kindly visit the IRAS website and the individual client may scan the QR Code or click on the link shown at the IRAS website.
