On or about 12 Aug 2021, the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has released the GST (Imports Relief) (Amendment) Order 2021 that updates the list of goods granted relief from import GST, which will comes into operation on 13 August 2021.
From 13 August 2021, goods which are imported for the sole purpose of being inspected by any Customs officer at the Tuas Export Inspection Station are granted relief from the payment of GST.
