The Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) has enhanced its digital services with a new chatbot function allowing companies and tax agents to instantly check corporate income tax filing and assessment statuses.

Integrated into the existing “Chat with IRAS” bot on the IRAS website, the feature enables real-time queries for:

  • Tax assessment and filing status for Form C-S, Form C-S (Lite), and Form C
  • Coverage for the current Year of Assessment (YA) and three preceding YAs
  • GIRO payment arrangement status for corporate tax

Authorized users must verify access by providing the company’s tax reference number. This self-service tool aims to reduce processing delays and administrative inquiries, providing immediate transparency on compliance statuses.

According to IRAS, the update reflects ongoing efforts to streamline corporate tax processes through automation. Tax professionals and entities are encouraged to transition from manual status checks to the chatbot interface for efficiency.
