{"id":1119,"date":"2019-08-20T17:41:18","date_gmt":"2019-08-20T09:41:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ehluar.com\/main\/?p=1119"},"modified":"2020-01-13T17:47:28","modified_gmt":"2020-01-13T09:47:28","slug":"asc-submits-comments-to-iasb-on-ed-2019-2-annual-improvements-to-ifrs-standards-2018-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/ehluar.com\/main\/2019\/08\/20\/asc-submits-comments-to-iasb-on-ed-2019-2-annual-improvements-to-ifrs-standards-2018-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"ASC submits comments to IASB on ED\/2019\/2 Annual Improvements to IFRS Standards 2018\u20132020"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On or about 20 August 2019, the Accounting Standards Council (ASC) has submitted its comment on ED\/2019\/2 <em>Annual Improvements to IFRS Standards 2018\u20132020 <\/em>to the IASB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ASC are generally supportive of the proposals set out in the ED, subject to their comments on <em>IFRS 9 Financial Instruments<\/em> and <em>Illustrative Examples accompanying IFRS 16 Leases<\/em> as stated in their comment letter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ASC recommend that the IASB should consider amending the example to explain why a particular reimbursement of leasehold improvements would not meet the definition of lease incentives.
