The Ministry of Finance (MOF) said that the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Heng Swee Keat would deliver Singapore\u2019s 2020 Budget Statement in Parliament on 18 February 2020 at 3 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The MOF together with government feedback portal Reach and the People\u2019s Association (PA) said that the public can watch the Budget speech via multiple channels, including via a live webcast on the Singapore Budget website. The speech will also be available on CNA and its website, on radio channel CNA938 and Mediacorp\u2019s MeWatch (formerly Toggle).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Real-time updates of key announcements from the Budget speech will be available on the MOF Facebook page and Twitter account. The public can subscribe to the Budget website and receive the full Budget Statement via email. MOF added that it is partnering with the Singapore Association for the Deaf to provide simultaneous sign language interpretation of the speech on the Budget website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Budget updates are also available via MOF\u2019s WhatsApp and Telegram channels for those who sign up from the Budget website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following\n the delivery of the 2020 Budget Statement, the public can submit their \nviews on the Budget through various feedback channels. The government \nfeedback portal Reach will hold \u201clistening points\u201d across Singapore to \ngather views on the Budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The PA \nand its grassroots organisations will also be organising post-Budget \ndialogues and \u201cchit-chat sessions\u201d to engage residents on Budget 2020 \nmeasures. Residents who wish to attend can register their interest with \nthe PA Contact Centre or website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, in view of the evolving novel corona-virus situation post-Budget, outreach and engagement plans might be adjusted to ensure public health. Updates of the post-Budget outreach and engagement plans will be posted by MOF, Reach and PA on their websites or social media accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
